Proball Training Academy - Real Ball Players Wanted!!
Dear Proball Family:

I must first start by thanking everyone that made our first year such a successful one. Through your hard work we accomplished so many positive results in 2010. Last year we fielded 10 baseball and softball teams, hosted a benefit softball and baseball tournament, and helped the Hesperia Baseball team win their first district championship in 36 years. We introduced many of our ball players to travel ball for the first time, we helped nearly 100 players from Boyne City, Big Rapids, Deckerville, Fremont, Hesperia, Holton, Ludington, Muskegon, Scottville, Shelby and Twin Lake play spring, summer and fall ball. We participated in tournaments in Shelby, Fremont, Holland, Mount Pleasant, Central Montcalm and Muskegon. Most of all we helped forge memories and friendships that will last forever.

As we enter 2011, we are excited about the possibilities on our horizon. Enthusiastic for the upcoming seasons and where travel ball may take us. With all of the possibilities also comes the reality of the real world. 2010 was a learning experience for us also, the do's and dont's I guess you would call it. To continue to be able to provide our services to our players we must make some changes. We knew when we set our pricing for 2010 that we were very under priced for what other clubs were charging. We wanted to give as many players the opportunity to participate as possible. One thing we didn't budget for was non-payment for participation, which we have corrected for this up coming season. We also have a training facility that we encourage our players to utilize as often as possible.  We have built the building expense into their player fee, so they are welcome to use it as often as they would like.

We have set a budget of $5000 per team for 2011. We have also added several more fund raising opportunities to make playing more affordable for everyone. We encourage everyone to take part in these opportunities and help us continue to be a positive influence in the development of your child's life. We also welcome any and all help and ideas you may have to help our organization grow. If you know anyone that would like to make a private contribution for the love of the game, we would gladly accept that also. We look forward to the up coming season and stregthening our Proball Family.

Take Care,

Paul
