SESSION II – INTERMEDIATE: This group will focus on refining and developing techniques of the pitching motion, as well as the mental aspects of pitching. We will work with your present pitch with improvements. The drop ball, change up, rise ball, and curve ball will be taught on an individual basis if students are ready.
Coach VanHorn’s Check Point System will be taught, so you can correct your own mistakes and make changes while you are pitching.
Pitchers must understand that there is a tremendous amount of work involved in a pitcher’s development and most of it comes from the pitcher’s own dedication and hard work.
If you are a beginner pitcher who has the proper motivation, you can make you a successful pitcher with the right guidance.
